commerce Deepak Kumar Dipu shot off a letter on the issue to the divisional railway manager of Dhanbad, East Central Railway, Sudhir Kumar on Wednesday."This passenger train had been running between Sindri and Dhanbad since 1982 and is the lifeline of Sindri. Hundreds of people take the train daily. Instead of reducing the frequency, the railways should have conducted regular checking drives to discourage people from travelling without tickets. "We will also take up the matter of delay in extension of some trains like Asansol-Ahmedabad Express via Dhanbad, which was supposed to be stretched till Bhavnagar in Gujarat, and Koaa Aii Express (Calcutta-Ajmer), which also passes through Dhanbad and was to be extended till Ahmedabad," he said.
