This train has a 2 minute halt at Thane, 3 minute halt at Panvel and from there owards, all the halts are of 5 minutes. I wonder what the real motive is here.
Considering the very limited halts at Thivim, an A category station, I feel all trains should be allocated 5 minute halts here. It is a nomal trend to see 500-1000 people get in the Konkan Kanya, specially on weekends and the 2-minute halt is just not enough. It is a shame, that such matters need to be highlighted as it is a well-known fact, the AC compartments of the Konkan Kanya, Mandovi and Jan Shtabdi reach 90% plus occupancy at Thivim.
