Again saying, what you are showing is true, nothing to deny the fact. But what I and other bloggers are saying is, to run a correct type of train at correct time. We need to consider which class of people are traveling in a given section. We are talking about people for whom, taking 230Rs GS ticket matters a lot. We are not asking to run Shatabdhi, Garibrath, Duronto, AC SF etc. we are talking about an intercity kind of connectivity for the sake of this section of people.

There is no rule that a Rajdhani express should start from the State capital. Train no. 12423 Assam Rajdhani runs from Dibrugarh and not Guwahati and 12442 Chattisgarh Rajdhani runs from Bilaspur and not Raipur. When a small state like Goa has Rajdhani, why can’t AP?
I also suggest that the 12804 Swarna Jayanthi SF express should be made daily and extended to Katra (Vaishno Devi temple), 12808 Samata SF express should be extended to Dehradun for the benefit of those going to Haridwar and Roorkee.

IR sirf badi badi baatein karsakta h ki world class facilities denge, wifi denge, humsafar, tejas blah...blah...but IR have now great experience in fooling passengers.
jo trains h wo to maintain hoti nhi aur workd class travel ki baat krte h.
BSP RAJ is worst train in its fleet but kya karein jab CGSK me resevation nhi milta to BSP RAJ mazboori hojati h.

Visakhapatnam: Even as the people are expecting a new railway zone to be formed for AP and political parties are milking the issue for their benefit, a Rajdhani Express to connect the new capital of Amaravati or Vijayawada via Vizag with New Delhi is yet to be considered.
The issue was raised by TDP Rajahmundry MP M Murali Mohan in the LoK Sabha on Wednesday. He enquired if the central government was contemplating introducing a Rajdhani Express from Amaravati-Vijayawada to New Delhi via Visakhapatnam, Nagpur and Raipur. To this, Union minister of state for railways Manoj Sinha said at present, there was no such proposal due to 'operational and resources constraints'.

"At the time of bifurcation, we had demanded that there should be two trains - one is the AP Express and another Rajdhani Express. The Rajdhani Express could start from Vizag and AP Express could start from Tirupati so that it will facilitate movement of people from our state. But, the state government has to push these proposals forward and put pressure on the central government. However, the state government is not interested in railway projects," opined Visakha Railway Zone Sadhana Samithi convenor JV Satynarayana Murthy.
Explaining the advantage of having a Rajdhani originating from Amaravati/Vijayawada via Vizag, rail enthusiast Pradyumna Mushunuri said, "It will cover more places in AP including the Godavari districts and going via Vizag it will be a shorter distance to Delhi rather than the existing trains."
He also said that the timings of the existing AP Express from Vizag to New Delhi via Vijayawada leads to two entire days being spent on the train instead of which the train could depart in the evening for the convenience of passengers.

An evening departure from VSKP towards NDLS should be scheduled. Suppose a 21:00 hours departure from VSKP is planned with arrival at NDLS scheduled at 04:00 or 04:30 then end to end travellers and passengers going to Delhi can reach there early in the morning and attend their offices on time. Similar return timings from NDLS to VSKP should be planned so that passengers don't have to spend more than one full day in the train traveling end to end.
The idea of a Rajdhani from BZA/Amravati to NDLS is fine but routing it via VSKP-NGP is absurd because frankly speaking anyone from BZA/Amravati (THE CAPITAL OF A.P) won't be willing to pay the fare for the longer route of

IF VSKP people do need a faster and direct connectivity between Delhi and VSKP then a Duranto should be planned via Raipur and Nagpur if it is the shorter route or any other shorter route with minimal reversals and traction changes. Starting a Rajdhani from BZA/Amravati for the sake of it and routing it via VSKP will not serve BZA people who want to got to Delhi well.
Will anyone of you guys if living in BZA/Amravati will book a ticket in Rajdhani going via VSKP-Raipur-NGP to Delhi when you have to pay for the excess distance of at least 1100 kms via this route?
