Hmm we had disucssed it upteen times...Having a early arrival train @ MAS is surely required at least preferably reaching on Monday @ Chennai...If its being considered really its good which i feel needs lots of external pressure. But as of now no inclination of a early morning arrival train looks feasible.

Gkp train can serve ner/nr while bsb can serve for ghazipur and nearby passengers via NCR route.

How does a division/station decide on the locomotive links of a train.
How is it decided so as to allocate a particular locomotive to a particular train!
And why is that some "Super slow crawlers" like howrah amristar, toofan express and kolkata chitpur get high speed locomotive Wap4, whilst relatively much faster trains like kolkata ahmedabad via cic and hwh-rnc intercity(via er and ecr run) get Wam4s!
Shouldn't a faster loco be allocated to the faster trains!

sirji you will find lots of passengers trains name that get regular WAP5/7 if you look at NR / SR / SCR zones trains list

Loco allotment is usually based on loco availability in the trip shed, and in some cases like trains with extremely aggressive schedules, allotment may be based on schedule requirements. But more often than not, it's based on loco availability.
Also, even if a train is a 'Super slow crawler', it's because the train has too many stops. Even crawlers have regular runs at MPS in between stations. It's not like they are made to run at lesser speed. they just have most stops/less priority which makes their run time longer. Both the 'fast' trains and the 'slow' trains run at 110kmph in some sections during their run.That way it's justified that they get normal passenger locos like WAP4.
Most important thing to note is that
1st point is loco availability.
2nd points is due to trains have more halts will need loco with better acceleration for crawler and passengers trains.

ER is shortage of WAP7 locos that why no loco availability. so WAP7 is not for crawler and passengers trains in ER
Even no crawlers get P-7 in ER bro. The ones which get P-7 of HWH shed are as under:

Primary maintenance will be done at SVDK and secondary maintenance at VSKP and NDLS
total 5 rakes are needed and already 4 are running.
if VSKP agrees to do primary maintenance itself, there is no need of RSA at all.
SVDK may have PM but are they able to do it for LHB coaches don't know.
In views ECoR should train people on LHB maintenance at VSKP as it helps other big station can use the facility. VSKP has huge coaching complex for maintaining trains. Also it has enough space for expansion near railway station that to all land belongs to railways only.
Already SC-VSKP LHB , AP AC exp 2 LHB AC exp secondary maintenance going on at at VSKP. So there is need of upgrading to LHB maintenance if its not available at VSKP. Soon VSKP Duranto may be LHB , so in view of future required ECoR should listen to NR and help them by taking primary maintenance at VSKP for AP AC exp.

New zone will be formed .. ROU will be merging with ECoR by de-linking from SER of CKP Div and WAT will be de-linked from present ECoR

There are two trains from GIMB to PURI.
i) 19453/Gandhidham - Puri Weekly Express
ii) 12993/Gandhidham - Puri (Weekly) SF Express
It would be beneficial to people of Western Odisha if 19453 is restricted to RGDA.
There is no point in travelling in circuitous way from TIG to PURI Via RGDA, VZM, BAM & KUR;
If you have shorter route TIG to PURI Via SBP, BBS & KUR.
If a link between BAM to Raygada will be constructed, it will reduce so much T/T. Southern Odisha people should demand for a new rail link before upcoming budget.
But the original Odisha blogger seems in restriction of 1 train @ RGDA with circular route as issue, while lot many follow same kinda circle route!!
