In a bid to achieve their long-pending demand of Kotipalli-Narasapuram railway line, people of Konaseema region under the aegis of the Konaseema Joint Action Committee will take out a ‘padayatra’ along the proposed railway track for three days from November 27. Cutting across the party lines, representatives of all the political parties – including Amalapuram MP from the TDP – are participating in the programme.
It has been a long time since the foundation stone was laid for the 55 km-long railway line that introduces railway services to the residents of the Konaseema, for whom bus is the only mode of transportation. Not just the commuter traffic, but there is a huge scope for freight movement too in the route, as the region is known for its yield of coconut, banana and
Waiting for the updates :)
U mean railways don't pay for land in any project ? I think its not dat way.
Earth bedding works are in progress in BZA- GDV and GDV- BVRT section from GDV. But works in NDD - BVRT are yet to start
That one more project u said is Tumkur - Rayadurg line via Kalyan Durg which will reduce distance between SBC- BAY. AP is forward in that process. Earth bedding works completed in Rayadurg and Kalyandurg. Same visible in google maps also. Kar yet to shell out fromits pocket
If i am right tenders for that are yet to be finalized/called for...
electrification in negligable phase as the designs are keep on getting rejected at HO level.
present 2 contractors
BZA-OTR - VNR
OTR-BVRT - NCC
BZA div clasified works in 5stages
BZA-OTR --> works
Identification of land and make it available is in state govt hand. Even though center announced a project , if state govt failed to give the land means it will think about alternatives. If it roads and railways project will be stopped until they get it.
State govt will give land. My qus is for "free" or for a "cost" ?
Mostly for free of cost there days as there is huge competition for center project.
Regards these railway project which has cost sharing the state give land for free of cost
If the line comes up, the point of joining will be between NS and Palakollu, right? As far as I remember, the south side of NS station is completely closed by the town and it is not possible to approach the station from the south while coming from Amalapuram side, without going round the town. The connection will most probably be between Palakollu and NS with a bypass line towards BVRT. NS might be the future CCT, just missing out from the mainline by just a few kilometers ( unless the propsed port corridor is sanctioned ) !!
train 12624/3 mas-tvc-mas should be merged with 18567/8 vskp-qln-vskp

so that it can covers 5/6 imp cities
vskp - bza/gnt - mas - cbe - qln - tvc
Thankk God! You didnt aske for clubbing it with Howrah Maill or coromandal and say it would connect all important cities upto Howrah.
Train 22848 LTT - VSKP should be extended to CCT/COA
Shifting to COA will then need zone change over of this train from ECoR to CR or SCR. Its very tiring process. Instead enjoy the already biweekly running COA-LTT express and the daily VSKP-LTT express from SLO.
As i am in the city, Yesterday have been to CCT/COA c&w yard and have made the following observations:
1) pit line occupancy chart (enclosed)
2) pitline 1 for tpty passenger and seshadri maintained daily (both have their own rsa)
3) so there is vacancy for one complete daily train that can be introduced and maintained during afternoon hrs at pitline 1 (after shifting seshadri forward)
4) on pitline 2 gowthami is maintained for 9hrs (5 days) and for 6hrs (1 day). On left over day cocanada is being maintained along with another night maintainance.
On a whole gowthami PM - 6 days a week
regarding 17221 - its PM is only on tue . (known upon enquiry at COA yard). I myself visited yard on Saturday where its being given Secondry mainatnence type of at pf 3 COA and they told it will not be hauled to yard.
You may be right, and this info i got through diff RTi's there is no garuntee that they provide full information through RTI,as many will be stock answers.
I was in opinion that Kakinada is running full of maintenance facilities, just to know the ground realities i was working on pitlines.
CCT-BSB via BZA 1900 km where CCT-BZA via VSKP 1500 km.
If CCT-BSB via BVRT, BZA then its 1948 km
Which route u prefer ?
Shorter route will be through VSKP. but if u see like wise providing to a larger group and of also a factor of CCT controlled by SCR then via BZA will have larger chances. In fact TPTY - BSB via VSKP is a better option having RSA with CCT - BSB via BZA
cct-bsb via bvrt, bza is a better option. It caters larger group.
If every thing goes well VSKP it self get BSB connection directly soon.
Bro,IR is such a big organization and every train ideology is not unique,You can have multiple examples to support my statement and condemn my statement, its all upon the respect you give to other words.it looks foolish if you say "you are for and u r against" with some funny statements.
And with growing in railway network with new routes,we cant say or decide that train should go in the path i choosen, i dont want to give my statements too deper which is not in our hands i simply gave a open statement that SCR can look into.
And IR is for public and do service to public either it is some lakhs or dozens but unfortunately we are still not in grown up stage to look for only some dozens
Western India Connection to the marwadi community and also to working community who have lately shifted to GUJ/RAJ/NGP areas is also longed from quite some time. This time any new train should be better introduced via NGP through trunk line rather than SC.
There is proposal of WR zone train to Kakinada and not in route of GNT/SC.
But unfortunately Bavnagar occupancies are more from and to SC not end to end
Sure it comes to tracks in coming budgets
No hopes on budgets boss. Our RM has declared that there will be no more new train intros during budgets, they will be announced later as and when required and he wants to change the culture blab blab blab. its actually good that budget is not fr trains, frequencues, extensions, stoppages. but where are the new trains??
I think except for AP AC exp there is no other new train launched in the states of AP/TG n this year so far.
AP AC exp introduced at time of AP special status issue heated up.
2 new trains in Bihar launched on the day when Bihar campaigning is kickstarted by BJP.
Irony is that
I mean when in the budj when trains were announced, thats why mentioned as coming budgets.
Even we should understand that how much influence politics has impact in india, Prabhu to some extend he is successful i personally believe but to full extent he cant do and highly impossible in one tenure, bcz with out politics india is projected as NOTHING.
But for some reaons he has to bend bcz he is a person appointed by some one and finnaly by people of India through Polticins.
Hardly this year we may not have new train but it may not continue bcz they have to face public after their tenure to regain their seat.
FROM SECUNDERABAD WITH LOVE AND CHICKENPOX:-
A sudden attack of chicken pox and I was forced to return to Calcutta.
A Tatkal booking and I found myself shivering in the B10 3AC compartment at 05:00 AM at Secunderabad Junction. At 05:30 sharp Lallaguda WAP4 22264 dragged out 12774 SC-SHM AC weekly out of a sleepy SC Jn.
Since I was very ill (I was already full of rashes and had a high temperature by then) I couldn't click any pictures. The AC was bone-chilling and I lay their full-body face-first covered in blankets and mattresses, trying but in vain to keep myself warm. Somehow I had to last 28 hours, I thought! Took a Paracetamol and slept........
Jai Mata Di.... nice snaps and get well soon yaar :-)
