click here click here WDP4 20078 crossing with 3 hour late running HWH JU exp Video that almost killed me. AS the WDP4 rushed towards me, I was standing on door to capture it. But due to sudden force of WDP4, i almost lost my balance, but I got hold of the door bar with one hand.
Yes, life is more precious than this. I thought that I was safe. I was standing on door alone. I had firm footing But the emd gave great air blast which slightly off balanced me. You can see camera shake a bit at 00.01 just for a momentarily instant . I then got hold of door handle . Now I will be even more careful.
Hmm... I think that you should start taking such videos from the sleeper coach window. If your train was at 110 and the other train was crossing at 110 then the collective speed of the wind can be around 220 which is enough to pull a person out of the coach's main gate to the ground.... so kindly be careful and I have also subscribed and commented on your YouTube Channel :-)
Please be a bit carefull my friend while doing railfanning. Better avoid dootplating especially for moving trains & switch to window plating much safer option because life is very precious once lost can't be regained.
Aug 12 2014 (10:48PM) I wanted to share my experience with all budding railfans that we must be observing full safety and try to avoid standing on door under all circumstances even when our train is moving
Yes, i never do doorplating in moving trains . Here I thought i was safe but the force of wdp4 as it crossed me was emormous which dis balanced me for a sec and I was lucky that I got hold of door handle in the nick of moment.
