Bolpur,Bardhamanan, Jalpaiguri They Enjoy this train fast Travel and Less Price than Over Night Ones. This Train Compromises of two SLRs,Eight Second Seating Cars and a AC Chair car Coach, another Interesting thing that this train does not have any single dedicated general (second Class) Compartment.
This Train Earlier was Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri Express and Vice Versa. Then it was Extended upto Haldibari and Shifted to Kolkata Terminal and the Rake was transferred to ER. This is the Only train Which runs Non Stop Between Malda and Kishangunj , Others, Even Shatabdi and Rajdhani Halts atleast in Kishangunj.
This Train Uses the Kolkata-Dankuni-Bardhaman Jn-Khana Jn.-Bolpur-Pakur-New Farakka-Malda Town-Kishangunj-New Jalpaiguri-Jalpaiguri-Haldibari Route of ER/NFR and Stops at Bardhaman,Bolpur,Rampurhat,Pakur,Malda Town,New Jalpaiguri,Jalpaiguri enroute to Haldibari.

22326 HWH shed WAP- 4e honks crazily and gallops past Gurap station on HB Chord enroute at well over 100 km/hr through the Up Main Line with the 12319 Kolkata Chitpur Terminal (KOAA)- Agra Cantt. (AGC) Weekly Superfast Express. Note how the honk... or should I say, "hunk" of the loco echoed all the way through the station. I became third time lucky, after two crawling actions displayed by the train on the previous two encounters.

More than 1 hour late running 15901 Yesvantpur (YPR)- Dibgugarh Town (DBRG) Weekly Express headed by a HWH shed WDM-3A cruises through Gurap station on HB Chord enroute at a fairly good speed. It was a hell of a task for the 3100 HP loco to haul the 24 coach train (including 3 HCPV coaches), but it was in a no-complain mood.. We hail you, Deemer!!!
Quite surprisingly, while most of these long distance train gets a HWH WDM- 3D, but a few regularly keeps getting these WDM- 3A.

SRC WAP-4 in SER, and then a HWH WDM- 3A in ER. As a matter of fact, the HCPV were full of pigs, which were being moved to the slaughter houses located in the North Frontier regions.
The train follows the Yeshvantpur- Vijaywada- Vishakapatnam- Bhubaneshwar- Kharagpur- Howrah- Rampurhat- Malda Town- New Jalpaiguri- Alipur Duar- New Bongaigaon- Guwahati- Lumding- Dimapur- Mariani- Simaluguri- Sibsagar- Dibrugarh Town route, and covers a massive 3605 kms in 68 hours.

HWH WAP-7 # 30295 returns to Sealdah doing a trial run with 20 Coach load of brand new rake of AC LHB Coaches which will probably be the second Sealdah - New Delhi Duronto rake after the frequency is increased from two days to four days a week.

Just as I deboarded the Slow Chord EMU to start a fanning trip, fellow railfan (who was to do fanning with me) Vivian Boye informed me that a Duronto rake just overtook his EMU, and was on the way to approach me... And bang!! Within 15 minutes, there it was!!! Headed by HWH shed WAP-7 (30295), a 20 coach brand new A.C. LHB rake of Duronto thundered through the Up Main Line at flat MPS of 130 km/hr... smell the odour of the coaches... In fact, the 6 months old Loco looked so old!!! Since the coaches did not have any board, we were confused that which Duronto should it belong to.. But after some assumptions and incidents, we got our answer... Vivian Da spotted the same loco at Sealdah in the morning.. So the rake was coming from Sealdah's Beliaghata Yard. And in the evening, the same rake returned with the same loco in charge.. So we got confirmed that its the second rake of 12259-12260 Sealdah- New Delhi A.C. Duronto Express, and was going through some trial run between Sealdah and Asansol. So it meant that India's first and fastest Duronto is on the way to get its frequency increased from bi-weekly to 4 days a week (as announced on 2011 Budget). As a matter of fact, this Duronto (India's most pampered Duronto) is the third Duronto after Howrah- Yeshvantpur Duronto (from tri-weekly to 5 days a week) and Howrah- Mumbai A.C. Duronto (from bi-weekly to 4 days a week) to get its frequency increased. Location is Gurap (not to be confused with ECR's Gurpa) on HB Chord section.
