Full throttle, all cylinders firing, Tondiarpet[TNP] WDM3A 14124 seemed to be in no mood to relax, as it was hauling an on time running(for a change), 22601 Chennai Central[MAS]-Sainagar Shirdi[SNSI] express. On a day when, all trains going towards Bangarpet[BWT] crawled through Whitefield[WFD] due to a TSR of 45kmph, all trains moving towards Bangalore went at MPS. This TNP beauty in the pic, came in with Great Smoking and honking and slaughtered pf3 of Whitefield station at 100kmph flat.

Golden Rock[GOC] aka Ponmalai WDG3A twins 13449(Shakti) and 14694 speed away with a LPG rake. This was the fastest freight action i had ever witnessed in this station, considering the fact that there is a goods yard right next door, i.e. Whitefield SGT.

21-4-2013 was finally the day where the Vivek Express started from its actual destination Tuticorin. As per the Rail budget 2011 this train was announced to connect Tuticorin with Dwaraka. The train started running from Dwarka and use to terminate at Madurai instead of Tuticorin due to Pit line construction, Platform constraints and infrastructure related issues at Tuticorin Railway station.

With in a few weeks since its inaugural the train got extended up to Okha from Dwarka side how ever still terminated at Madurai. Almost a year and 4 months passed , later the green signal struck towards Vivek Expess to start its maiden...

looks like they are going towards Devanagonthi side from WFD...but with my experience i can say they are about to change the track from main to loop to get attached to freight trains parked after PF 4.
