About Superfast/Mail/Express trains of Indian Railways.
Superfast Mail/Express trains are express rail services of the Indian Railways. They make few stops, unlike other Mail/Express trains, achieving somewhat shorter journey times. Tickets cost more than Mail/Express rates. As of 2015, 450 pairs of Superfast trains ran on the Indian Railways. The 12908/Maharashtra Sampark Kranti Express (NZM/Hazrat Nizamuddin - BDTS/Bandra Terminus)[1] is the fastest non-Shatabdi, non-Rajdhani Mail/Express train in India.
In some cases, trains run Superfast where there is an overlapping Mail/Express service available, and run regular Mail/Express trains where there is no supplementary Mail/Express service.
Trains with an average speed, excluding halts, equalling or exceeding 55 kilometres per hour (34 mph) (60 kilometres per hour (37 mph) until the early 1990s) on both up and down journeys fall into the Superfast category and are numbered with a prefix of 12 (previously 2). Including halts (both revenue and scheduled technical halts) the average speed often is below 55 km/h. As of now there is no criteria for number of halts of superfast trains.

Speed Corridor of Mathura Tughlakabad offers some epic parallel actions, one such can be seen in Video where the 2 Goods locos are pitted against each other WAG9 and WAG5A, the passenger train in the video is Mangala Lakshadweep express.
The Mangala Lakshadweep (Malayalam: മംഗള ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ്)is a daily running Superfast Express train of Southern Railway and runs between Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi and Ernakulam Junction in Kochi, Kerala via the Konkan railway route. It is currently being operated with 12617 / 12618 train numbers. This was the second daily train connecting Kerala state and New Delhi after Kerala Express and provided the first daily direct access to the national capital for the Malabar(North Kerala) districts and Coastal Karnataka districts, following the route of Ernakulam Shornaur Mangalore Madgaon Panvel Kalyan Nashik Bhusawal Itarsi Bhopal Gwalior Agra Mathura to Hazrat Nizamuddin for schedule and more info

Another train is a Goods rake for carrying coal with BOXNHS type wagons, that offer more load capacity at a higher speed.
