i think now NR/NWR decided to put kota under RL quota after 2013-05-17,, bad decision i think

Oh over looked it...Seems there is a quota change from 17-5..
Yes, from 17 onwards, KOTA will have Remote Quota, while it was GEN been shared across intermediate stations, till nw!!
really really bad decision....this trains runs half empty almost everyday....

it was the only overnight train from kota to delhi having seats available....rest all carry heavy waitlist...now this 1 will also have waitlist.... :(
yes correct...very puntual,clean,well maintained and ISO certified train with comfortable timings too..But dont worry,u will easily get cnf ticket in this train..

Awesome clicks. Golden Temple Mail aka Frontier Mail was my favorite train from Punjab to Mumbai and back in earlier years, when Rajdhani Trains were not introduced.

Thanks Shah-Nawaz jee...Once I had travelled in this train,cleanliness was just superb but rush was too high as Diwaali was approaching....
On this trip, I observed that it had onboard cleaning staff, who were cleaning the coaches every 2-3 hours.
Ab bheed to hogi hi, varna yeh kis baat ki Frontier Mail....:P
Also on that journey,the axle of the wheel got damaged before Mathura when the train was running at a good speed resulting in raining of stones from along side the track....Someone immediately pulled the chain..
Then after some slight maintaenance,the train was brought to Mathura Jn at very slow speed..The train was halted for approx 30 min at Mathura which resulted in the delayed arrival of train at NZM...
Overall the journey was fantastic..

And in those days, card tickets were in use for making reservations. The booking clerk at LDH will make an entry in his register for the date specified by you and make an endorsement on the backside of the ticket itself.
Those tickets are very rare now...

19105 / 19106 ADI-HW Mail also has Red color RMS Coach. I have seen this on 12.04.2013 @ MOZ when I was waiting to board 12056 DDN NDLS Janshatabdi.

Yeah. Something on these lines happened in my journey too. Someone pulled the chain in Kosi Kalan and due to opening of the pipe, the vacuum wasn't getting built up again. Because of this it was stuck there for about half an hour. No help came from the railways. One of the co -passengers used his brain and plugged the pipe.

How to book railway retiring room online? I want to book a retiring room at kota, please help me out. What is the website for booking?
The facility of computerized booking of retiring room is available at Jabalpur, Bhopal & Kota stations of West Central Railway with the facility to book retiring room at all linked stations ( click here for the List of stations for computerized booking ). Passenger has to approach at specified counter for booking. The retiring rooms of these stations and all other stations (where the on line booking of retiring room facility is available) can be booked from this system in advance upto the advance reservation period. The charges for the booking are to be paid at the time of booking and a ticket is being issued. for example :-
