The first train [Intercity Express] is the main and only train for daily and weekly commuters between Trivandrum and Ernakulam Via Alappuzha. The second train [Mumbai Express] would really helpful for daily commuters to technopark from southern part of Thiruvananthapuram and Kanyakumari districts. The third train [Maveli Express] would help the employees weekly commuting to northern part of Kerala The Trains listed from 4 to 7 are connecting to main IT cities and it would be helpful for employees working here from other states of India. Now all Bangalore and Chennai buses are operating from Kazhakooottam only because of huge number of passengers to these cities. We listed JanShatabdi Express and Venad only for SUNDAY’s as a huge number of employees are travelling back to Kazhakooottam after weekend in these trains. Also we request your kind attention in providing a reservation counter in Technopark and amnesties such as refresh rooms and vendor stalls in the station. We once again thank you and railways for helping us live a better life."
I have quoted a news report and is not my personal demand which is very clear. As for JS, they have asked only on one day. And it seems logical citing the patronage that KZK is getting as opposed to many other places where JS stops, including Varkala. Friday stop for 12082, Saturday stop for 12076 and Sunday stop for 12081/12075 can be justified as more people from KZK region would be willing to pay a JS fare and travel, and as it is both the JS donot have 100% patronage except... more...
Yea, infact funny that when stops including Aluva and Thrissur were cancelled for few trains, KZK has been retained. May be, reservation statistics on a positive side actually do some wonders like this.
Ask stops for Kerala and Rajdhani too while you are at it. Why leave them out? You people will ruin all trains in Kerala making them stop everywhere. Can't you see some of these are long distance trains and not for MST intercity commuters?
These are some of the rare species of chugging actions we get here in TVC... Its not irritating.. But the chugging is musiq to ears... smell of smoke is just more than smell of Yummy Tandoori Chicken or kababs
