Porter facilities are scant at this station. Outside auto/taxi also are not easily accessible. Elderly passengers especially need to be aware of this, and be prepared with alternate arrangements.

Very true . I have personally experienced this when I arrived at DEE by the Udhampur-DEE AC Express at 4.20 am on 18th October 2013 along with 4 other admins .

Nearest meteo Shastrinagar ( Red line ) . Rs 5/person by city bus and Rs 10/person by E-rickshaw .
I will never visit this station again , even in dreams too . Dirtiest and Filthiest station i had ever visited .

The nearest metro station to DEE is Shastri Nagar Metro Station. Autos would demand anything from Rs.30-60 though the original cost is only Rs.30
