u r right, as this train is having the worst avg speed when compared to other rajdhani or express trains.
Shramjivi is having approximate same run between NDLS & Varanasi.
But the real damage is in Bihar, where its having 3 irrelevant hault, as ballia, hajipur & sonpur.
But still avg cant be made better with existing scenerio.

Kanpur Central falls on the main Delhi-Howrah electrified high-speed trunk route - that's why all high-speed trains going East pass through Kanpur. Lucknow is on a non-electrified slow side track - a train has to be explicitly routed through Lucknow for Lucknow residents only - fast trains usually will not pass through Lucknow.

You can compare Avg speed of Rajdhani passing via CNB to that of LKO.
Agn compare avg speed of express via LKO & CNB.
You will surely get the answers as to why 1 Raj through LKO.
CNB Trunk route is fully comprised of By-Pass Chord Line, like one via Mirzapur, other via Tundla, making it a high speed zone. While in case of LKO route, its always passing through mid-city everywhere, making less room for Chord or Loop creation.
Train takes approx
a. 1.5 hrs to cover in between Utratia-Alamnagar
b. 1.5 hrs in bet ARR in BSB & DEP from MGS.
c. 1 hrs in between MB Outer & Ramganga Bridge.
These 4 hrs kills every train presumed to be superfast or express.

Still, LKO & MB section alone will be of no use, as either Saharanpur or NDLS connection can only create smooth electric operation of some exprss trains enroute.

I just checked according to you and I am also getting the same message, but if I am trying it from New Delhi then this msg will not appear. Even we cant book it from Moradabad also. I dont know the reason why but the only solution is you have to book it from NDLS and get change the boarding point Lucknow.

i tried many times to get a ticket in rajdhani for ndls to lko.....but never got it...do something for the passengers for lucknow sothat they also can travel into Rajdhani express

In my knowledge there is no LHB rakes in 2424/2436 Ghy rajdhani express....Can anyone seen LHB rakes in this train. Plz reply.
