this train has been running as a special for more than a yr now. yet this has not been made parmanent? do the railways need more proof that this train has been successful?
Noe: maybe after the doubling of mysore-sbc route, the train will be made parmanent. who knows?

The special train service between Mysore and Howrah, has been extended till June, according to a press release.
The extension of the train service follows an advisory to the effect by East Central Railway and South Eastern Railway.
Accordingly, train no. 0803 Howrah-Mysore Weekly Express Special will depart from Howrah on February 12, 19 and 26; March 5, 12, 19 and 26; April 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; May 7, 14, 21 and 28; and June 4, 11, 18 and 25. It will depart from Howrah on Fridays at 4 p.m. and arrive at Mysore on Sundays at 7.40 a.m.

Start a new railway line from Bangarapet to Pakala.It will help Sheshadri Express,Prashanthi Express like trains to reach Thirupathi to Bangarapet easily.Actually the current railway line runs via Kuppam,Jolarpettai,Katpadi,
Chittoor,Pakala and then reaching Thirupathi.Split Thirupathi District from Chittoor District.It will help the Thirupathi-Bangalore trains very safely and currently,these trains enter Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh and enter Vellore District of the nearby lying state Tamil Nadu and again entering Chittoor District,it will pass to Nellore District(Gudur is in Nellore District).
So a direct connection is very useful and Mysore-Howrah Winter Special can be routed as a permanent superfast train connecting Mysore and Howrah on this route:
MYS-MYA-SBC-KJM-BWT-MDP-PLR-PAK-TPTY-RU-GDR-NLR-OGL-TNE-BZA-EE-RJY-DVD-VSKP-VZM-BAM-BBS-KGP-HWH.

Any communication regarding the extension of this train beyond Jan 31st. This train is a great relief for the people who are stationed at Mysore.

Does WL/4 {7th jan} be confirmed till the journeydate of 18th january.

This train is a very good option for the Howrah-bound travelers from Mysore. Sometime it is hectic to catch a train to Howrah fat the Yaswantpur station after travelling all the way from Mysore. Please keep 0804 and 0803 running throughout the year. Thanks.

this train must run on all seven days and to be extended upto dhanbad or parasnath (jharkand) its very helpfull for jain piligrims frm karnataka, tamilnadu, kerala to make shikharji darshan ....sunil jain, mysore.

This train should be made regular and run via Prashanthi nilayam.
