PUDUCHERRY IS ALSO A CAPITAL BUT IT IS A UNION TERRITORY, YOU CAN TAKE EXAMPLE AS CHANDIGARH (WHICH IS A UNION TERRITORY AND COMBINED CAPITAL OF PUNJAB AND CHANDIGARH), WHICH RUNS SHATABDHI (AS THE DISTANCE IS VERY LESS, WHERE RAJDHANI IS IMPOSSIBLE), SO PLEASE CONSIDER PUDUCHERRY AS A CAPITAL (WHETHER IT IS A UT OR STATE)
Yes Puduchery is a capital and a Government also there with Chief Minister.
You know one more thing? there is a Town named Yanam in Andhra pradesh which comes direct control of Puducherry government as it is a French Colony previously. It doesn't belongs to A.P but APSRTC is running buses to Yanam and most of the people (95%) speak Telugu there. when Prohibition on Liquor in A.P.few years back Yanam buses are always full from Kakinada/Samalkot/Rajahmudry as Yanam is not a AP controlled area and Liquor lovers Daily travels there in morning and evening.hahahahah..........

great explanation lol.Shatabdi runs everywhere but raj runs only from state capital to national capital,end to end pass wont take this train.pls make it via shorter route.its taking very long route
