Why does this train and 22819/22820 run with diesel loco on BZA-SC route even though it is electrified? They can save a lot on diesel exchequer atleast in this route...

Narsapur-Nagarsol bi-weekly express new train starts on Tuesday and Friday - Train Number 17213 starts from 1st July 2011. Train Number 17214 bi-weekly express trains starts from Nagarsol would start from July 2nd onwards (Wednesday, Saturday).

This Train Frequency increased from Bi-weekly to daily in this budget...Also fro two it will run Via Guntur-Nadikudi-SC & other days via present route.

No official Info regarding daily service commencement date,have to wait for some time..
I Think Before Starting of Daily Service they May Run this train has Weekly 5 days has special for a 1 to 2 months Then They run this a daily Service. The same Thing has done in Case of Hyderabad-Kolhapur Express/17003 train from Making Biweekly Service To Daily Service
Once a new rake is procured, it will be made daily.
Thx for the quick update - SRG, Koku & Budgetboy. I thought from 01/04/13 - it will run daily. Actually, its a pain to travel in this route. Most of the trains took around 17-20 hrs to cover a distance of hardly 900 kms. That too very odd times.
Sadly, our beloved IR is running most of the trains with an avg. 50kms/hr speed only. Instead of improving the performance, travel time reduction, unnecessarily Rlys is wasting time, resources on unwanted bullet trains, high speed corridors etc. Big revamp is required viz., having complete 'electricification' lines, min. double line for passengers, one exclusive 'cargo' line across the nation. when its happens, obviously travel time will reduce drastically, more connectivity, more speed. Time only has answer for the above 'indian...
