We are facing so many problems to reach chennai from Visakahapatnam. We are not having single train which arrive at around 6 am at Chennai. Howrah-Chennai mail arrives at 3 am which is so early with family and children. Even though many trains running chennai via VSKP but the quota's are not enough. Sunday we have Dibrugarh-Yeswanthpur train via VSKP, Chennai but not even single 3 AC , 2AC ticket quota allotted to Visakhapatnam. Like this many trains running via VSKP with very less quota. For a over night journey people are suffering. We have only one weekly express which reaches 9 am at MAS with that we losing half day as we reach office by 11 am only after fresh up and all. VSKP division being the top...

Nice Initiative Venkat Garu..But Linking with NZM Link and attaching at BZA is not feasible as per TT since circar will depart from BZA by the time Link arrives,if it needs to be done at TEL a loco separately should take it there.For this to happen Circar TT needs to be adjusted a bit so that linking is done at BZA itself..

MAS-VSKP it can run as a separate train if they allows it. Another thing is Circar can run with diesel loco to tenali where it can join with this VSKP link which comes with electric loco. So no slot change required.
Also guess on days nagavali slot is used better they attach to it from BZA-VSKP also on days where it doesn't have a run they can run it separately what say sir??

yes , its helps to reduce clash. Also at TEL its full free at that time.
So the Diesel Loco can come back to BZA from Tel & Electric Loco can take it forward from TEL..While Return detaching at BZA should be fine,Lets see how they respond and hope its on the positive side :)

Why not a link train from VSKP can be attached at BZA to this train. It can run as 23 coaches train from BZA.
VSKP - MAS link will be attached to VSKP-NZM Link express and detached at BZA.
3A-SL-SL-SL-SL-UR-UR can start from VSKP. It helps to get only train which arrives at 6:30 am and also provides daily train from VSKP to MAS which is demanded from year.

Also Link exp can take these coaches very easily. Getting a daily train to chennai is much more required for people of this region.
Actually Link should get more coaches to NDLS but certain constrains are there.Still a slip is suitable connecting to MAS.

Ya but it connects with Dakshin at KZJ so attaching more coaches towards NZM is not possible. In stead they can attach coaches to SAMATA ans Swarna Jayathi exp.
Swarna Jayanthi is doing extremely well in recent times.
Ya but this link with Circar proves well for many VSKP travelers who are crying for early morning arrival at MAS.

BZA is incapable to handle shunting of slip coaches with so much of traffic.

2.Infact slowly they are scrapping the existing ones.
3.Train is slow & takes bit long route could be a problem for VSKP public.
4.If either one is late the other one has to wait no other go.

What about Samalkot Junction??? It remains free more or less and is closer to Kakinada.Samalkot Junction should be chosen to do the job.

Any thing is possible in IR. If not BZA then Tenali is can be chosen. But BZA at that time is quite free than mid night.
Now all this makes me think what if we had "KOTIPALLI - NARSAPUR" rail line "done and dusted" with and also that small stretch between "PITHAPURAM - KAKINADA" and the task of "Doubling" up that "NIDADAVOLU - BZA" and the routes in between.I think that can help us run more trains.Also add - a parallel line between BZA/GNT - MAS.

VSKP public will demand for high speed 250 kmph train also but is it practically possible ?? They not able to change the timings of a train. Not even a single train which they demanded was given in this budget despite of MoS from AP.
This practically possible with minor adjustments at BZA or Tenali. It don't need another new slot or new train. Needs just few more coaches that's it. Getting a daily train to a metro these days is its self a big task.

agree slips will be good even it has rsa with kcg-ms in ms this slip can be attched to that and can be ran witn return circar express
RSA is nothing to do with Link express. This link maintenance can be done at VSKP it self.
It is a good proposal which cannot be executed because ECo Railway has to provide coaches for VSKP-MS link exp to be attached to CIRCAR exp at BZA and they will say that COACHES ARE NOT AVAILABLE

It is suggested that 12733 depart from TPTY at 18.35 so that it reaches GDR at 20.25. Then 17643 can arrive at GDR at 20.05 and depart at 20.07 and reach TEL at 00.30 with 12733 overtaking it at VTM. 17643 can arrive at BZA at 02.30 and finally COA at 08.45. Thus 17643 can be speeded up by 50 minutes.
No use, railways looking forward to slow trains, not speed them up..

Yes between Tenali & Kakinada its very slow and too much slack..Does well between Tenali & Chennai..
arey try to understand friends, this train is very old train and during those days it was given all possible stops since it was the only train in tht route tht time, and wdp 1 twins is to give better acceleration. even seshadri, machilipatnam / ns - tirupati (b/w gdv and bza) are also given twin wdp 1's. this started happenning from when bza got a few wdm2s. at first they had shortage of locos so used to give single. now dual is being given

BZA DLS has enough spare locos and hence twin.
But in Video can see three AC Coaches...
May be extra coach on that day. Since it arrived ahead of seshadri on the day this video had taken, i couldn't clearly remember whether the doors were locked or not! And, yes, sometimes extra 3A will be there, but in closed condition.
