For those willing to travel in 2A, it is more convenient to book ticket in 17305, rather than 12779, because firstly, while 17305 has eight tickets in Tatkal (compared to six for 12779), the train has no proper halts between Londa and Pune. What this means is that while the train will halt at Belgaum, Ghatprabha, Rayabag, Miraj, Sangli, Karad and Satara for 12779, the passengers cannot board 17305 from these stations, thus greatly reducing competition. Also tickets from Goa can easily be obtained for 12779 up to Londa (and by extension, up to Miraj) under current availability, so no need to change trains, as well.
