social media mindsick people hate hindi, north Indians but generally it safe as pan India being tourist specially..
For the SM ppl north India specially up Bihar is worse but in reality tamilians visit more than any south state to north India specially kashi vishwanath.. (lord Shiva temples)..
There will be language barrier a little bit as in Bengaluru or Hyderabad its not...

Incorrect. Don't go by media inputs. Absolutely fake narrative. India was, is and will be happy place for travelling cutting across language barriers.
Not unsafe...but not favorable either for Hindi belt people. Common public either not know Hindi or intentionally choose to avoid it. Dravidian belt political parties often air the anti Hindi sentiments there

But for sure you will face difficulties in communicating as very less people know Hindi and English. Many a times your Ola Uber will cancel your ride if you can't talk to them in tamil and won't be able to guide your route and location.

I have been to KGP but never understood why it doesn't have services/pitlines for maintenance of LHB rakes. Lines criss cross that places like crazy and I was surprised to find that even Nimpura Yard, despite being so huge, doesn't have the requisite requirements.
Train departed today with only 1 seat Available ( I saw 30 mins before departure from KGP).
Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Kharagpur were the major contributor stations to fill this spl train. Baleshwar, Brahmapur also contributed.

There is another KGP-SMBV Spl which ran yesterday for 1 trip also got very good occupancy from kharagpur.
