Reached Platform #3 of Sri Ganganagar at 10:30 PM finally.

Take care sir, as Summers in North India is extremely high reaching about 50┬░C. You can take copious amounts of desi lassi, chaach, juices etc apart from water. I think route diversion is all due to as usual Kisan Andolan in Punjab, it is common nowadays ЁЯе▓ for to fulfill their political agenda rather than really protesting for Farmers. Also tomorrow is Indian Parliamentary Election results to be announced so extra care must be required. I am also really interested to visit North Indian tours but sadly my family doesn't allowing me due to economic constraints. I too have an friend at Amritsar and Lucknow as well. Just praying to Waheguru Ji for my future and to fulfill my dreams ЁЯЩП

This is associated works contract as part of doubling project for 14km only and tender value is Rs 15cr time period of completion is 18 months. So actual doubling works contract is diffrent as you mentioned but my doubt is why have given tender for only 14km in place of EPC contract for 40-65km by calling national tenders in which big construction companies will participate as done by NHAI. Last year when I saw third line work in Tenali Sinyarayakonda section couldn't find automatic track laying machines any where .

a Diesel Loco today?

If you check Deccan Queen's history it was the Train which was hauled by a Electric Loco from its Maiden Run, Various Species of Eloco from DC to AC and Dual Electric Current WCAMs have hauled Deccan Queen Express!!
Speciality of DQ is the first train to have Ladies only compartment, Vestibule or Gangway for moving from one coach another without Getting out of the Train, A Daily Passenger service train to have Dinning Car..!!
Today, Due to a 63 Hrs Mega Block in Mumbai Division, has cancelled several Trains including Deccan Queen ЁЯСС, it was a sad news to us when we came to know about Cancellation..., but huge thanks to Harsha Shaha Mam and Her Passenger Association as well as Huge Thanks to Humble Railway Officers and Staffs for allowing us to Celebrate Queen's Birthday, and it was a Dream for me and my fellow Railfans to get a Chance to Decorate Diesel Loco that too an ALCo!!
So here, WDM3D is just shunting the rake from Yard to Pune's Platform No4., here we Decorated the Loco and Celebrated by Cutting Cake, later Rake was Shunted back to Yard by same loco after the Celebrations...!!
