when we sarch for trains 'from' stn to 'to' stn, we get number of trains. These can be viewed in tabular form also. These can be further filtered with 'departure/arrival days' 'time' and classes.
But when a traveller wishes to travel via specific route, he can not find his choice, other than by trial and error.
e.g. Pune to Ernakulam, we have four trains, and Two routes.

I have been waiting for this feature to be introduced for long, as this adds to further refining the search.

You can view the trains between two stations in two ways.
Check the route and trains between HWH and MGS
Quick View -> /search/1/333
View at a Glance -> /search/taag/1/333

Once we get quick view, it becomes columnar to compare. It is nice but when we have limited space, and 'station' colum is not remaining fixed, when we scroll left/right, viewing the stations route and train is not easy and pleasant. Instead, one more 'filteration tab' like 'arrival/departure days, time, and classes is made available' it will make search more effective and viewing easier.
e.g. Pune to Ernakulam. serch brings four trains. again in the quick view, we have to mannually scan the route by which we wish to travel.

'via route' tab can bring either 'yes' result or 'sorry no results'
and if quick view could be done, I am sure 'via route' filteration tab too is possible and needed.
