If you want to do business do it with correct motive... That's what missing with Indian Railways... And their is also no place left for Comfort, Cleanliness & Punctuality... We Indian Middle Class has no option left, other then using Indian Railway as a communication media...

Take for example Kolkata - Siliguri/North Bengal Connectivity, even few years back their was only one decent train Darjeeling Mail & that too it was the least punctual train in Indian Railways with using old coaches from rejected trains... At that time we used bus service

one thing is very clear all SF trains will only and only run through NOQ,NCB section and the track is being upgraded and equipped to handle high speeds(upto 110kmph).Doubling is going on and will ensure high entry and exit.What APDJ-SGUJ needs is proper intercity travel trains to connect to nodes i.e.NCB,SGUJ.For that that line needs to be de congested.It needs to be remembered that DMUs,I/Cs are the key to this line and some region centric long distance trains can be allowed.

but one thing is very clear i.e. now we have an wide rang of trains to choose from.Padatik was a notable addition some years back and then we had the grand entry of Shatabdi.NBengal again doent gets attention due to its lack of industries heavy industries to be precise and again though it falls in north eastern zone but doesnt officially taken in the North Eastern Region and consequently doesnt get any facilities and subsidies.For Example Rail Axle Factory NJP could not get a PPP partner.Surely if this factory would have started,there could have been a triple line easily.Ther would have been dedicated lines and funds would have automatically flowed

Sunday has always been a nightmare day for Katihar division as all kind f blocks are taken on Saturday evening->Sunday...as a result you can see 12343 reaching NJP @ 12.05 overtaken by 12424,15622,15934 etc etc..12377 & 15721 yet to arrive,more than 15 hrs they started from SDAH/HWH...let c next sunday KYQ BNC premium is scheduled to run,what kind of arrangement is awaiting for it.
