Hi, Need your expert help with my travel planning.
I have a W/L 28 ticket for 12432 from Delhi to Goa on Jun 22. Do you think it may get confirmed? I am travelling with kids, so want to avoid last minute mess.

Let me put it frankly, this is too tough to get confirmed (It might just, but 'miracle' is what I'd call it). Now before you go to the conventional lines of "Oh God. Lets try Tatkal now" there are some options you can try:

1) Same train. Same day. Book till ERS. GNWL# 71 / WL# 38 in 3A. Much better chances of RAC at least. 2A has good chances of confirmation.

2)Depart a day early in 12284/Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto Express. Saturday night departure. Monday around 3AM arrival at Madgao. Again you'd have to book till ERS since its a Duronto.
GNWL# 53 / WL# 36 in 3A. Easy stuff.
GNWL23 / WL11 in 2A. Even Easier.
RAC in sleeper class.
Available in 1A.

Very difficult to confirm. There are very few seats between NZM-MAO in 12432. I remember last year my WL was RSWL 6, booked 30 days before DOJ and even RSWL 6 could not be confirmed. So please make alternate arrangement to avoid any last minute disappointment

Thanks for your detailed response!
I will check in the morning to see how easy it is to get tatkal ticket... just to get an idea.
If it looks difficult, I will book till ernakulum. 12284 looks inconvenient with small kids.
