Lot of people across AP from all other divisions say that people in Rayalaseema won't prefer trains.
Yes. Why? Because there are no Intercity trains which run within Rayalaseema.
TRACKS:
----------
And the routes
...
are complex too. For the 5 cities in Rayalaseema
(ATP,CTO,TPTY,HX & KRNT) , There are no straight routes to atleast 2 cities from the rest 3.
ATP-HX, KRNT-HX, HX-CTO. All round about routes.
ATP-HX there is no train at all. Have to change trains at GY. (They must lay a line from ATP to TU, HX to OGL) This will increase the connectivity superbly.
KRNT-HX, the train has to come until GY to go east to HX. (Not an immediate requirement thought)
HX-CTO, the train has to go upto RU then to TPTY and onto CTO. (Not a requirement though).
TRIANS
---------------
No Direct trains or routes to rest of the AP. So everyone would prefer buses instead of taking longer route and changing trains.
-------
KRNT doesn't have a direct or passing express train to any city in AP apart from the cities in Rayalaseema.
--------
ATP doesn't have a Direct train to Any south coastal city in AP below GNT. No direct train to HX with in Rayalaseema. Only one weekly express train to CTO.
------------
HX doesn't have a direct train or track to any south coastal city below GNT.
No direct train to ATP with in Rayalaseema.
------------
CTO is well connected to coastal AP cities but only with passing through long distance trains. Only one train connection to ATP, weekly once.
-----------------
TPTY is well connected to all cities, being a national pilgrim center.
Just added a pic with Railway map of Rayalseema with needed tracks (Yellow) & under construction tracks. (Red)

Cumbam - OGL is a perfect line. That would connect, ATP,GTL,KRNT, NDL, BAY to OGL straight if at all OGL is going to become the capital.. Else HX-OGL is more required than GTL-OGL.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
