Thanks a lot Sir..... for clearing the doubt regarding the "Loco Link" of this train.(i.e 12259/12260 SDAH NDLS DURONTO)
So the video posted by Arindam Ganguly on 03.08.2014(Vide Entry No: # 1176935) that SDAH DURONTO was hauled by WAP7 is true for that day only. I have a doubt in my mind after seeing the aforesaid video. These pictures(which you posted in this entry regarding the "Loco Link") clears my doubt.
WAP7 was an off link loco for this train only for that day, which was provided for any of...
more... the following two reasons(I think):
1) Malfunctioning of WAP4(It's regular & orthodox link)
2) Non availability of WAP4(It's regular & orthodox link)
WAP7 is not the usual link of any Delhi bound Duronto either from SDAH or from Howrah.
And after seeing this 125-130 km performance by it's "Red Stallion WAP4" of HWH Shed I think there will be hardly any body who will claim that WAP7 will be provided as the "Regular Link"of any Delhi bound Duronto either from SDAH or from Howrah in future by Eastern Railway.
So, Arindam & other WAP7 fans(including myself),
It is painfully true and irrefutable fact that in case of SDAH/HWH NDLS DURONTO the "Red Stallion WAP4" has completely ousted it's predecessor WAP7(one of the best high speed loco built by Chittaranjan Locomotive) in all respect and there is hardly any chance to revert back to WAP7 in future for this train and we can't be so fortunate to see WAP7 as the "Regular Link"of any Delhi bound Duronto either from SDAH or from Howrah in future.
