An application developed by Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS) has to be downloaded from Google Play (for Android) and Windows Store (for Windows phones). The facility will be later extended to other phones also. By a registration process, the passenger has to generate a one-time password with their personal mobile number, name and city as Mumbai. After successful registration, ‘Zero’ balance R-wallet account will be opened with unique login ID and password. After booking with R-wallet, passengers will get a confirmation message with ticket information along with a unique booking ID. Passengers can print their ticket at the ATVM kiosk at the source station with their unique booking ID. Passengers can cancel their journey ticket as, per rules, with their mobile phones if the ticket is not printed, and the refund is credited to their R-wallet. Once the ticket is printed, cancellation can be done at UTS counters only.

The printing kiosk(ATVM) was inaugurated at Dadar Railway Station and are available at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Kurla, Thane and Kalyan, Churchgate, Mumbai Central, Andheri and Borivli stations.
PS: You have to go to the PRS currently to recharge your wallet and in addition to that, you need to print the tickets at the ATVMs.
A Smart Card serves the same purpose with more ease.
