**************A brief "Trip Report" of the journey of mine on 16.07.2014 in 12259 UP SDAH NDLS AC Duronto Exp***************
It was the evening of 16.07.2014(Wednesday). My "Dream Chariot" was given in platform 9B of SDAH by the shunter WDS at 18.00 PM sharp. My coach was B2(Fourth Coach from the Loco). We were three in number(I and my parents). Unfortunately I got only one "Lower Berth" at the time of booking as I booked our tickets at the last moment. We were allotted three berths of a cubicle one lower, one upper and a middle. Just our opposite three berths were allotted to a family having a "teen age girl" studying at Kendriya Vidyalaya New Delhi and her parents. They came to

Kolkata for visiting their relative's house at Habra, 24 PGs(North)West Bengal during the vacation at the school of that girl. As I got only one lower berth so I tried to manage another one but could not manage another one as on that very day there was "Mammoth RAC" in SDAH Rajdhani and in our coach 6 persons were assured by the travelling TTE of giving berth at Duronto. All those 6 musketeers were placed temporarily by the TTE on the side berths in front of our cubicle and the next two cubicles. All those 6 people claimed themselves as the "Central govt Employees" but as per the behavior their actual standard was below the "Beggar of a street". Always using "Slang remarks" while making chit chats among themselves, using "teasing tones" to the young lass travelling in our coach(though this teasing was made in a low pitched voice but a sensible guy can easily understand their motive). What is most surprising they carried "Wine" with themselves, which is "Illegal" I think and a "Punishable Offence" too. However the train departed 18.30 pm sharp from SDAH. Our Chariot was charged by a "Red Monster" of HWH Shed. After skipping Bidhannagar the train slowed down it's speed for the "Mandatory Track Change" just after leaving Dum Dum Jn(DDJ).After DDJ it picked up a "Decent Speed". Those musketeers always irritate our onboard TTE for their seat as all of them were the "Rejected Articles" of SDAH Rajdhani.(They had RAC Tickets of SDAH Rajdhani). The atmosphere in our cubicle was filthy caused by the "Cheap Language used by the group".They created "Nuisience" in front of our travelling TTE but he was mum and took no action against them. However the TTE managed 2 seats and despatched 2 elements to the adjacent coach (B1) and 4 were allotted in the side berth of our cubicle and the cubicle next to us. It was 21.00 PM the train was then rushing at it's full swing with the "HWH Red Beast" at it's helm. Dinner was served by the "Pantry Staffs" entrusted with the charge of our coach. In the meantime after the train crossed Dankuni all those suspicious 6 had finished a "Noggin" of the "Wine" carried by them which was their "Regular Evening Pill" as I came to know from their discussion. Now they requested the "Pantry Staff" to give them dinner at 00.00hrs instead of 21.00pm. Already after the heavy dose( 2 to 3 in number) two members of the group fell asleep in the side upper berth and the side upper berth next to our cubicle. They had no sense and both of them were in "a deep slumber" (Effect of too much alcohol taken and they had no place to adjust dinner in their stomach), snoring like a "Dragon" always. It was a "memorable night" for me as I could not close my eyes because of those "sleeping dragons". The other two ordered dinner when the train just skipped "Gaya"..... in the meantime we were completely irritated by this "Ridiculous attitude" of the group. All of them made the "lavatories" filthy with empty "Wine Bottles" and end portion of "Used Ciggarates".Their "High Pitched Irrelevant answers" to the phone calls also added flame to our irritation. However after taking the dinner the other two slowly "entering to the world of wonderland". I switched off the "light" of our coup. Only the "Tube" of the "passage" was kept switched on as "SDAH Duronto" has no "Night Lamps" in it's coach also it has no "Reading LEDs" like Rajdhani. I managed to close my eyes after the train departed Mughalsarai. In the next morning breakfast was served at 08.30 pm sharp. The train maintained a "Decent speed"(130kmph) during the night and then(i.e at 08.30pm) it was 30 mins above schedule. The "dragons" then woke up by the delivery boy and took their breakfast and started their "ridiculous gossip" already when I woke up at 08.30am. However the train crossed ANVT at 11.30am( 5 mins late) and it was stopped for 30 mins near ANVT coaching shed. Finally it arrived at PF 9 of NDLS at 12.15 pm(50 mins late) and my "Memorable Trip full of ordeal in the Fastest Duronto Of IR" was ended.
Just see what type of passenger are traveled in the "Fastest Duronto Of IR".

Yes it is "Gazab"........
For SDAH NDLS Duronto it is shameful......
Mention must be made here that in June 2010(It was my first New Delhi trip in my life and first experience of SDAH NDLS Duronto in my life)also I had same experience in the AC Two tier of this same train(12259 SDAH NDLS DURONTO). In that trip also I faced the "hooliganism" of 4 "Drunkards" in the cubicle next to us.That was also a "Sleepless Night" for us as "those 4" are very vulnerable and probability of "theft" was a fear
...

which embroiled our mind so much that we could not close our eyes for a second on that very night(June 2010).
Like NDLS in SDAH and HWH also I think "Luggage Scanning and Metal Detector" machine should be installed and both the stations must be maintained under active CCTV Surveillance for 24*7 format. Where you have to examine yourself and your belongings mandatorily before entering into the Station Premises. If these systems are implemented in these two main "Rail Junctions" of Kolkata with adequate Police arrangement and strict police vigilance then these type of "Mannerless Commuters" can be prevented at the very first stage before entering into the station premises and boarding in the train.

in fact the x-ray scanners are there in both HWH and SDAH. In HWH new complex, the X-ray scanner is in operation in most of the times. Most of the times RPF forces passengers to get their bags scanned but they don't even ask to put the hand bags in the scanner. In HWH old complex, most of the times X-ray scanners aren't used.
In SDAH the X-ray scanner and metal detector gate are kept in the mouth of pf-9A/B and are only used before the departure of 12313 SDAH Rajdhani. Still one can easily evade the checking formality.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
