NOSTALGIA !!! This photo is priceless for me as I have never been able to see a Steam Loco at the mighty Mughalsarai Jn Rly Stn , in my entire life time . This is a photo probably from IRFCA and have any of you'll seen a steam loco at MGS ?? Another question which I had asked you'll before & I didn't get a reply for it is that which station in Southern Railways (i.e. South india) is like Mughalsarai Jn ? I mean a halt more famous for being technical rather than commercial from railfanning point of view . This photo dates back to 1967 when electrification was near MGS . Thanks .

Internet Photo : The last broad gauge steam hauled trains were on Northern Railways like this train leaving Jalandhar City Jn in 1990 . These locos were doing shunting duties in their last days before being scrapped at JUC Trip Shed , which is now an EMU Car Shed . Thanks .
