Grievance Description : Dear sir DLI-SMQL-SRE have a daily express train which is 14545-46 janta express which run between saharanpur and farukhnagar station via shamli, delhi. this train covers the distance between delhi and shamli in 2:55 hrs with adding a delay of 10 to 15 mins it covers this distance in 3:15 hrs which is as good as passenger train.but the fare for this train is being taken as an express train. this is injustice to the passengers.this train should be converted into a fast passenger train with same halts or it should remain a express train with reduced halts and increased speed. the time table for this train has been attached. Thank you.

Details : the train is covering a distance of of 95 kms in 2 hours 28 mts with 12 stoppages and is running with an average speed of 39 kmph per hour. the train does not stops at 20 halts /stations enroute to saharanpur. the stoppage of this train between delhi and shamli has been provided for the convenience of the passenger of that area. most of the passenger traveling on this trains are daily passenger who has taken monthly season ticket .those who are unable to pay the express fare can avail the facilities of passenger trains which are running on this section. conversion of this train to fast passenger is not feasible
