Now there is only one Pantry Car instead of the two earlier. The position of the PC is also changed. Now it is between A1 and the last 3AC coach - B11 or BE1.
The position of the H1 coach also might get shifted to between A1 and the PC, instead of at the end, after A5 at present.

more... the change of the route between Patna and Barauni from August 2016, the trains no longer go through Patna Jn., but via Patliputra {with a temporary stop at Danapur, both stations of Patna,} and over the new bridge across the Ganga river. This has also eliminated the need to reverse the rake at Barauni. So the direction of the train remains the same throughout the journey. The distance is also reduced slightly. This is a good improvement. But it is a mystery as to why it takes 33 minutes for 6 km between Danapur and Patliputra? and why the halt at Patliputra is increased to 20 minutes?? when the old halt at Patna Jn was 10 minutes??? AND... with no need of the reversal, the stop at Barauni should be reduced to not more than 5 minutes.!!!
