This Child Was Found Playing Beside His Dead Parents At A Railway Station In Karnataka:
Amidst the cacophony of announcements and the passengers’ rush at Munirabad railway station of Koppal district in Karnataka, a three-year-old child played peacefully as his parents lay asleep beside him on the platform. The little boy, Devaraj, was sure that as soon as his parents would wake up, they’d go to visit the Huligemma Temple for which they had travelled from Gadag.
The absolutely stationary bodies of the couple roused suspicions in the passers-by. Soon they realized that

the two adults had not been breathing all this while, reports the Times of India.
While the witnesses reported their discovery to the station police, Devaraj continued to assert that his parents would wake up as he nudged them. The report suggests that the people and police who had surrounded the bodies and the child were overwhelmed to the extent of becoming teary eyed at the prospect of telling the boy the truth.
The Gadag Police arrived on being notified about the unusual finding. They were able to identify the deceased as 50-year-old Iranna Talawar and 40-year-old Manjula. “We contacted some of their relatives through the contact list on their mobile phone,” said Police Sub-Inspector, RS Kotagi of Gadag Railway Police.
On reaching Munirabad station, the couple and their child had spent the night on the platform. “Prima facie, it looks like suicide case, but we are not sure whether they consumed poison or something else. We don’t know the exact reason for their death. It will be clear after we get the postmortem reports,” Kotagi told TOI.
The bodies have been sent to the district hospital for autopsy. As for the child’s custody, the Police have maintained that if nobody from the deceased’s families comes forward, “the boy will be handed over to the Child Protection Committee.”

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
