Having a short TAT for its return trip, this train does have its share of problems. I boarded this train from Bangalore to Coimbatore & found the foll issues.
• While bed roll is provided and that too only if you approach the bed roll attendant, no new pillows are provided. Passengers have to make do with the old ones if required . The reason being mentioned was that the supply of the same is not at all sufficient to meet the needs of travellers considering the 2 hour gap only at CBE before its return journey. They also need to keep quantities for the return trip.
• Cleanliness...
more... is a bit of issue with very little time between trips. The SL coaches are just barely cleaned .The same thing exists when it reaches kurla. The train has only a 4-5 hour gap before its starts again for its trip
Not sure why railways keeps such low TAT for trains between trips. It is highly inconvenience for passengers
