Compared to 12249 it has only KQR and Gaya halts as extra. It has LHB and can be given 130mps. It should be given TT slot of Sdag Duronto and Yuva. 2 extra halts can be compensated by 10 mins b4 departure. At current look how badly it is trolled by NCR. Kalka ot it everytime. Took 7 hours to cover Ald-Mgs on thursday due to which 12323 was rescheduled yesterday

The problem is not with speed, the problem is mainly congestion and priority. 12323 always gets rescheduled on Friday as 12324 arriving on that day gets highly trolled by NCR. If 12323 is given 130mps still that speed will be limited in ER and ECR only, it will not be able to gain that speed in NCR, being a biweekly train it will continue to get low priority in NCR. Giving the slot of Yuva or duro also will not help it to a great extend, the best example for this is Yuva exp - it is supposed to be the fastest train from Kolkata to Delhi but due to low priority in NCR the train always runs with huge late of 6-8 hours. I can see only one solution to this problem - construction of the 3rd line in NCR or the completion of DFC as fast as posible
