Friends i would like to share my experience of my journey on 12407 new jalpaiguri - amritsar KARMABHOOMI EXPRESS on KIR-MFP section on 02/11/2011. Train left kir @ 12:15 pm and reached mfp @15:35 pm and covered a stretch of 265 kms in then 3 n half hours with two stoppages in between of around 15 mins each in khagaria and samastipur. Earlier also i have traveled in other super-fast trains in this stretch including rajdhani but that experience was great and a life time. Earlier the trains used to crawl @ an speed of 50/60 kmph. but that crossed major stations in between @ 100kmph. This has all unreserved coaches but one can find vacant seats inside as it is new and has a few stoppages. The only disadvantage i found is that it is weekly train. Another strange thing.This train doesn't halt at Kishanganj but halt at Barsoi......thats something different...!!!
