Thanks for your reply. good to see ur views. I do agree that passenger should take precautions. it not a short time its a 2days journey from agra-tiruvalla and i think u also will not take ur bags or suitcase if not need to take anything in journey once u put in. u don't feel surprised how rat and cockroach can come in trains that too in AC compartment. How in a moving train u can hear the sound of rat gnawing. How many time u hear at home the same sound if the rat is there. These rat and cockroach is not only in kerala express, i heard from frnds once they were coming in Korba Tiruvananthapuram Express/16327 also find same things and had made losses to food and items.
Regarding...
more... throwing foods and leftovers is not good even your are not going for good purpose, but u can image the class of people travel. i know when i was coming in same train devotee throwing the shells of peanuts same place they sit after peeling it.
MY SUGGESTIONS:
Railway in AC compartment has to keep one or two cleaner(railway staff) who will clean the compartment and toilets three times a day, i hope the salary will be covered by the ticket rates if need to add on it.
If not clean by him serious action should be taken by not paying salary for that month. Railway has to fine Rs.1000.00 on spot on people who found making compartment dirty by the TTC.Railway has to implement this system as early as possible to minimize these incidents.
AC Attenders are useless fellows no need of them, as they are only there for giving blankets and bedsheets only.
Why neat and clean bedsheets and blanket are not supplied in trains, railway don't have better cleaning facilities. This another area which needs to addressed urgently. When we can tell Railway is a hygienic mode of transport.
Hope this points can be addressed to top railway authorities from this blog and see the implementation of it.
