shishir2301 42 blog postsThis train has excess slack time. Please remove the slack time and make it a good train by making this to enter SDAH around 8:00 AM. Time between PNBE and BGP can be reduced by 2 hrs.
You are absolutely right. Timimng should be reduced & from Barddhaman it departs at 8.00 am to help office passengers & commercial businessman
unnecessarily this train stop at bwn near about 45 min. if this train stop at bwn for 2 to 5 min then it will reach sdah at 10 to 10.15 so think about it.......
shishir,earlier it used to reach sdah at about 2 pm....later the time was revised and it ha been speeded up by three hours...
before independence...first it used to run upto delhi...rather this was the first train and first route connecting kolkata to delhi...later grand chord and patna main line were built and this train was curtailed and ran upto mgs...then it had two sleepr coaches...since 5 years,one sleeper has been removed...now it runs upto mgs with just one reserved coach...a single sleeper...a boon for sahubganj loop line passengers but not liked by long distance travellers due to plenty of stoppages...
