sir i have a query...i want to book a ticket from sealdah to sahibganj but the train is in waiting list. bolpur is an intermediate station and seats are available from bolpur...can i book an e-tkt from sealdah to sahibganj with boarding at bolpur and board the train at sealdah instead? as the ticket is from sealdah,but the boarding point is bolpur,so will i be fined if i board from sealdah? an early reply will be of great help

if you book a ticket with BLP as boarding you will be put in quota avilable at BLP(ie you will get a confirmed ticket) But then you can not travel on same ticket till BLP even thou you have Valid Ticket from SDAH, you will be required to purchase a new ticket from SDAH to BLP.
