Sad part...What about WCAM's of Kalyan shed in CR section.....
Kalyan Electric Loco Shed will be getting WAP-7s just like Bhusaval Electric Loco Shed has got WAP-5s. After the CSTM-IGP Section will turn from DC to AC, the WCAM-2/2p/3 Locos and WCM-6 Locos locos will be converted into Pure AC Locos from Dual Traction AC-DC Mode. The same procedure goes for WCAG Locos. Some of them have been converted into AC Traction Mode and are hauling electric trains in CR.

Is there any official communication from IR regarding stopping of Valsad WCAMs and shift to WAPs; really for BCT-NDLS (or reverse trains) there is no need now for loco change at BRC.
Valsad WCAM-1 Locos will be scrapped only after they complete their service life as I had stated before. There is no official news right now & loco change may be scrapped at BRC after the confirmed energization of AC Traction right uptil Bombay[Mumbai BCT] in a few days :-)
