Byndor (BYNR) Station - A wrong strategy by KRCL.
Byndoor (BYNR) an utter rural and remote village geographically situated northern border area of Kundapura Taluk and Udupi District as well. There is nothing but Kollur Shri Mookambika Temple is nearby. For Kollur majority of outside devotees are from Kerala. With due respect to all devotees of Mookambika and actually there is a requirement of direct train connectivity & it should be sounds like "Kerala-Kollur Express"!!!
But Konkan Railway (KRCL) trying to uplift this station by giving stops to all express/super fast trains which...
more... coming from Mumbai & Bangalore for no reason. Because of this development hardly negligible number of devotees of Kollur and off course 10-20% local people benefitted. Majority (more than 80% of taluk) of train travelers are from surroundings of Kundapura cannot access Byndoor because it is geographical location and longer distance.
Surprising there is no stops for many trains in Kundapura!! Even though Kundapura is main and important for every reasons like – it is geographically central place of Taluk having larger area coverage with higher number of population/households, city jurisdiction, well-connected-roads to railway station, hospitals & hospitality facilities, education centers, major government related offices, business/trade center etc. Why majority of people of taluk get suffer? Why not stoppage at Kundapura station for all the trains which coming from Mumbai? KRCL, rectify the wrong calculation about Byndoor Station and please re-align all importance to Kundapura as soon as possible. This would benefit majority of train travelers of Taluk and even beneficial for KRCL in terms of revenue.
