I had travelled from VPT - SBC on 1st January 2012. There was an AC failure throughout my journey time and the TTE agreed to refund the difference amount between SL and 3AC, and gave me a receipt for the same. Being an e-ticket, I filed for TDR on 2nd of January,2012 and now the status shows "TDR Status: CCM Registered". Any idea how much does it take? Anything apart this, am I supposed to do? Any info would be of great help. Thanks. Prasad

Note:-Certificate from the TTE (in original) for the AC not worked or Excess fare ticket (EFT) (in original) issued by the TTE for wrongly charged or Certificate from the TTE (in original) for the less passenger travelled may be submitted to the above mentioned address along with the application to claim for refund.
sir,i would advise you to do the following things-
1.send an e-mail to care@irctc.co.in with this scanned copy of the certificate of tte as attachment and with all the details viz.doj,train no.,pnr,etc
2.within 10 mins.they will allott you an irctc ticket no.
3.call irctc with that ticket no.

I did send the original certificate to IRCTC, New Delhi through SpeedPost
Thanks for the info. Have sent an email. But when trying to call them, they never pick the phone. I had been trying to do this from yesterday.
