The article mentions a 45 minute speedup between Ajmer and Udaipur in a disappointed sort of tone, but I'm not sure it could be improved greatly without making the tracks fit for traffic up to and above 110 kmph. An improvement from 5h 30m to 4h 45m is approximately corresponding to a speed bump from 55 kmph...

FWIW, the best commercial speed between UDZ and AII is held by 09722, which the top minds have been threatening to "upgrade" to Antyodaya for some time now. That train achieves a time of 4h 55m by taking the CNA-BEC bypass and avoiding the reversal at COR.
