If on one PNR there is more than one passenger and one passenger is having confirmed/RAC status and rest is on waiting list or vice-versa, names of all the passengers booked on such PNR will appear in the chart.
A certificate can be obtained from the Ticket Checking staff in the train regarding non-travelling of wait-listed passengers on such tickets. Refund will be processed through TDR refund only after receiving the original certificate. IRCTC will forward the claim to Concerned Railways along with original certificate to process the refund and money of refund amount will be credited back to same account through which payment was made after receiving the same from the concerned Railways.

all such passengers do not want to travel before chart preparation, online cancellation can be done as at present. However, after chart preparation, online request can be sent to IRCTC through TDR refund for seeking refund. IRCTC will forward the claim to Concerned Railways to process the refund and money of refund amount will be credited back to same account through which payment was made after receiving the same from the concerned Railways.

It has been over 2 weeks since the appointment of the current batch of FMs and 750 Complaints have been handled so far. It gives me immense pleasure in congratulating them for running the team diligently, professionally, competently and above all, without a shred of controversy or bias. The FM position...

The modification to the TL Update scheme - i.e. the introduction of the new RAC System - has led to some efficiency with TL Updates. More TLs are being discussed, and quickly moved up. However, we still have on Average, about 300 Waitlisted TLs in the backlog at any time, and our hard-working and diligent TLMs...

Here are some guidelines for members regarding the new Report button and the revamped FM system: 1. If you have ANY complaint about a blog or ANY other issues, please USE the Report button and file a Complaint. Most complaints are resolved by FMs within seconds/minutes. (Some require further discussion). FMs have...

Often we have some TL Entries seemingly in WaitList forever. Usually, the reason for this is that TLMs have already looked at the TL Entry but are not confident enough to Confirm it or are looking for more inputs from the Member regarding the source, etc. And this delay eventually causes...

This is to address persistent and lingering questions about FM Appointments: . 1. Being an FM is a service. It is NOT supposed to be some kind of "reward" or "medal" to "deserving" members. The ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE of the process is to promptly handle/look into Reports filed by members, which is expected to...

There are some changes to the Forum section. . The Objection feature is now completely GONE. We now only have a "Report Abuse" button. When the Report button is used, an alert is sent to the "Forum Monitor" group. ALL FMs will see an "FM Alert" notification at the top. Thereafter, they will...
