Hello members from Kolkata......I plan to take Steel express from Tata and board Duronto express from HWH. Will this be too risky ?
Steel arrives at 10:30am and Duronto departs at 10:50. Steel is an important train. How is its punctuality usually. From NTES it is seen that last few days reaches around 10:40......
Any other option. Duronto exp does not have halt at KGP else that would have been a better option

When's Steel approaches HWH, the HWH YPR Duronto rake overtakes Steel for getting Shunted to the PF. Then Steel reaches HWH after Steel arrives at HWH, YPR Duronto departs. This is the regular scenario but as sometimes Steel gets delayed, like I faced recently due to some work over SER, you will bound to miss the train. So don't take risk. As simple as that.

Thanks. Agree that boarding from HWH is risky.
Offline i seem to have got one suggestion which is Tata-KGP (Steel), KGP-BBS (Falaknama exp) and then board Duronto from BBS.
But i guess it makes sense to take an overnight train from Tata or else the pre dawn passenger towards HWH instead of boarding & alighting from multiple trains

I suggest you board Azad Hind or Kriya Yoga from TATA. Better is Kriya Yoga. Trains passing from SECR gets late often. Kriya Yoga will be an ideal choice. TATA KGP KGP BBS is risky as well.

As Somanko suggested, take overnight ones but avoid that come via Bilaspur, Raipur (i.e. SECR). Among that 2 options are there, Kriya Yoga and Koraput exp. Choose among these for sound journey

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
