A sinister product destroys the brain and kills memory! Limit its use, do not delay,
Researchers led by John Pani and Claudio Grassi have shown that a low-calorie diet increases the number of stem cells in the brain, which improves memory and learning ability. Excess sugar damages the brain, according to a study by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart published in the journal Cell Reports. Namely, it stops the process of reproduction of stem cells in the hippocampus - the region of the brain that is primarily responsible for memory. These cells are critical for learning and memory functions. Nerve stem cells are required to maintain brain function over time, and if they are few or poorly functioning, they contribute

to cognitive decline in older adults. Research shows that excess glucose in the brain (as in the case of diabetes mellitus) compromises the function of these cells, which reduces their ability to reproduce. We first studied, Pani explains, what happens in a test tube when nerve cells are exposed to excess sugar. This condition prevents the stem cells from renewing themselves. Excess sugar burns up cellular stores that help the brain produce new neurons. Thus, we fear that those who consume too much sugar receive less neuronal regeneration with consequent negative effects on cognitive function.
In addition, during the experiment, the researchers observed mice for four weeks and saw that the neural stem cells of mice on a low-calorie diet reproduce much more efficiently. Thus, research shows that poor nutrition and high amounts of sugar consumed (which we often do not even notice - it is found in sweets, sodas, in fast food) impair cognitive functions in our brains.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
