Good suggestion to share the rake between AP EXPRESS & SAMATA EXPRESS , It will definitely remove congestion from New Delhi / Hazrat Nizamuddin station & also AP will cover Night Journey on One Route & SAMATA will cover Day Journey in One Route + SAMATA will be made daily as well.
But there are 2 disadvantages
1 - 22.00(VSKP) – 20805 – 6.15/9.35 (NDLS) – 12808 – 19.10/6.25 (VSKP)(PM) – 12807 – 16.00/20.15(NDLS) – 20806 – 5.05(VSKP)(SM)

more... timing will create a lot of hectic to maintain the rake : Platform - Washing line - Platform . To wash & clean the rake we require atleast 5-6 Hours of slag.
2- AC, Sleeper & General coaches in AP/ SAMATA needs to maintained as both have different coach composition . If sharing the rake the compo should be some where like :
ENG- EOG-SLR-S1-S2-S3-S4-S5-S6-S7-S8-S9-PC-H1-A1-A2-A3-A4-B1-B2-B3-B4-B5-SLR-EOG = 24 COACHES
Other than that even I am against extension of SAMATA to HISAR JN. Rather i am in favor of getting LHB to SAMATA EXPRESS.
