Almost 5 hours late running 12380 Amritsar - Sealdah Superfast (Jalianwala Bagh/ W.B. After Paharpur...

The Ghat section comprises of numerous huge curves, small bridges and viaducts, three tunnels and an awesome scenic environment. But due to area being a good hunting ground for the Maoist, the lines have either TSR or PSR placed all over. It is the reason why the train moves at a moderate speed of around 60- 80 km/hr. Though the Ghat section is not steep enough for the requirement of extra locos for passenger trains, but freights move with an additional loco, which does the duty of a banker while ascending, and braker while descending. Location falls on the border of Bihar and Jharkhand. While Gurpa falls in Bihar, Gujhandi falls in Jharkhand.
