Yesterday night, completed my 6th TVC Rajdhani journey. I reached TCR station at about 10 45 pm, an hour and ten mins before the mighty Raj would arrive. The platform was jam packed with passengers for TVC MAS SF exp and TVC GUV ICE. As soon as these trains arrived and departed, the platform became somewhat empty. At 11 55, TVC Rajdhani came to TCR. This was the first time that we four (my father, my mother, my brother and I) were travelling together since a long time. We boarded our A3 coach and occupied our seats i.e. 38, 40, 41 and 42. The coach was a May 2009 make, which means it was considerably older than the other coaches. But it didn't look so old, thanks to the cleanliness kept by the staff. The train pulled out of TCR at around 12 05 am and we went to sleep.

FOOD-
At about 5 00 am, the pantry guy came and asked for our preference for breakfast. We, obviously opted for Veg.( as we are pure vegiterians). At around 6 00 am, the bed tea came along with the standard Parle-G mini packets, candyman chocolates and the tea kit. At 9 00 am, the breakfast came which constituted of couple of slices of bread, butter, jam, cutlets, kind of french fries, tomato sauce and a plastic glass of fresh lime jiuce. The beakfast was good, but not excellent. Some of the passengers for our coach complained about the quality of cutlets. After the breakfast came the ready made tea. Then the pantry guys took the orders for the lunch, as I was enjoying the beautiful Konkan ranges. At 12 30, Tomato soup along with bread crumbs were served, which were really delicious. Then came the veg lunch which consisted of 2 parantas, Veg Kofta, Rice and Dal and some accompaniments. The lunch was good. At 4 00 pm, tea was served but to my disappointment, only one packet of roasted groundnuts and a packet of wafer was served as hi-tea. When enquired about the same, they said that either Sandwitches-samosa combo or the namkeens are now served as hi-tea and that there is no fixed menu for hi-tea. At 8 30pm, Rasam was served, which was outstanding. Then, at 9 00 pm, Dinner was served i.e. 2 parantas, Paneer butter masala, Rice and Dal. The dinner was very good. Overall, the food was good, but not outstanding.

CLEANLINESS-
The cleanliness was just amazing. The cleaners came in and cleaned in every 3-4 hrs. The toilets were spick and span. The curtains were also new and the bedrolls provided were also very clean.
