2 more ac chair car coach should be added, as the train is going with 100% occupancy and people’s of Chandigarh and mohali are getting less seats as earlier!

Chandigarh Delhi highway par jab dekho kuch na kuch work laga rehta hai (flyover, medians etc) and the volume of traffic is huge resulting in atleast a 5 hour road journey. Tolls are also quite high Trains are doing Chandigarh Delhi in 4 hours or even lesser, so now trains are becoming a priority in this section.

yes.. Delhi Punjab axis always had good train patronage because trains are faster and cheaper on this route.
Delhi-Chandigarh VB is doing under 3 hours..
Volvo takes more than 5 hours.. by car its 4.5 hours atleast..
Trains are more convenient in this case..

Agree,delhi-panipat stretch and derabassi-cdg stretch are full of traffic every time.
Volvo buses too take much time.
Ordinary buses take four and half hours for Ambala Cantt and volvo takes about 4 hours.
VB takes 2 hours 10 min and Shatabdi and sampark kranti takes less than three hours for umb.
But
...
only advantage of buses over trains for cdg is that buses cover entire city of cdg from delhi side and drop you at isbt-17 which is the heart of cdg, whearas railway station is in daria village which is outer of cdg near Panchkula.

People prefer trains over buses on delhi-amritsar/katra section.
But on delhi-patiala section people prefer buses because trains are few in numbers on this route.
