1. Pandharpur - Pandharpur is an important pilgrimage city on the banks of Bhimā river in Solāpur district, Maharashtra, India. The Vithoba temple attracts about a million Hindu pilgrims during the major yātrā (pilgrimage) in the month of Ashadh and Kartik.
2. Akkalkot - It is situated 40 km southeast of Solapur and very close to the border between Maharashtra and Karnataka states. Akkalkot was the home to Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj, a 19th-century saint who is believed by his devotees to be an incarnation of God Dattatreya. Akkalkot State during the British Raj, was a princely state ruled by the royal Bhonsale dynasty.

Kolhapur - 'Kolhapur' is the fourth city in the Maharashtra state after Mumbai, Pune and Nashik where Maharashtra State government has allowed to construct high rise buildings up to 35 meters taking into consideration the rapid urbanization and tremendous growth of this city. Kolhapur is known as 'dakshin (south) kashi', 'historical capital of maharashtra state', 'door of konkan' as well as 'city of wrestlers ' and 'city of arts'. It is also known as a 'city of palaces and temples'. Kolhapur is situated on the banks of the river Panchganga and is the location of the Temple of Mahalakshmi, a Hindu goddess.
