When railway provides alternate accommodation like if you have WL in 3AC and requested for HQ but berths are not available so railway will provide accommodation in SL but you have to find your berths in final chart.if you search by PNR only "released" will come.

Or you could have been upgraded. On the chart you will see where you have been upgraded to. Normally it would show alternative accommodation provided.
