Today i planned to travel from Salem to Chennai Central. So i reached SA by 7.50 planning to board CBE Intercity express. When i had a glance at the crowd standing at SA junction i got scared. Suddenly an idea struck so that me and my friends can travel from SA-KPD in this train and can continue KPD-MAS portion in CBE intercity express thereby we can sit for some 3 hrs . So i was waiting for this train. Silently a WAP 4 RPM lead train entered then i realised it was nt this one coz of the EOG sound. It was TVC-MAS duronto running late by 2 hours thereby skipping salem exactly at 08:21. After 30 mins CBE-TPTY express arrived on platform no 4 i.e. 25 mins behind schedule. compartment was nt that crowded too . Infact we got a entire bay for us. Then the RPM WAP 4 showed its true class, it mercilessly skipped all the stations around salem suburbs and i enjoyed the entire route surrounded by hills and forests. It was really awesome from SA-MAP from MAP it was normal again with paddy fields,sugarcane and in no time we reached JTJ outer. At JTJ outer SBC-MAS express came with LGD WAP 4 in lead . An amazing parallel action took place where CBE-TPTY won the race. I took a video of that race. SA-JTJ took just 1hr 30 mins and SBC-MAS had a scheduled stop at JTJ but CBE-TPTY skipped JTJ in a very low speed and after JTJ it was made to halt for 3-4 times coz a goods train was obstructing our line. At Vinnamangalam the freight was sidelined and then it started to gain speed and we reached KPD at 11.30. 10 mins behind schedule but it was an amazing run and the coaches were clean too.

Southern railway system map 3069kms have been BG line,692kms of MG line,still Tvr-kkdi will be last MG line to be converted from MG-BG.....lets hope SR will finish it soon also doubling of important lines,such as tpj-tj,kik-tj(in future)mv-tj(in future) two new lines tirukkuvalai-tiruthuraipoondi,mannargudi-pattukottai....in next budget they should allot more funds for tamilnadu also more trains should be introduced:
